Buying & downloading
How do I get my pattern?
Your pattern is a digital PDF, delivered instantly. After checkout you'll see a download link on the order confirmation page, and we also email it to you — so you can start sewing the same day.
I didn't get the email. What should I do?
First check your spam, junk or "Promotions" folder, and make sure the email address on your order is spelled correctly. Still nothing? Email help@sewinglovers.com with your order number and we'll send your files.
Can I download my pattern again later?
Yes — use the link in your order email. We recommend saving your PDFs to your computer or cloud storage straight away. If you ever lose them, email us with your order number and we'll resend them.
Do you ship anything?
No. Everything in our shop is a digital download. No fabric, finished item or paper pattern is shipped, and there are no shipping costs.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Shopify — we never see or store your card details.
Printing
What paper sizes are included?
Every pattern is formatted for both A4 and US Letter paper, so you can print at home anywhere.
How do I print at the right size?
Open the PDF in a free PDF reader (such as Adobe Acrobat Reader) and print at "Actual size" or "100%" — never "Fit to page". Before cutting, measure the 1" test square included on most patterns. If it measures correctly, you're ready to go. Then tape the tiled pages together following the guide in your pattern.
Can I print at a copy shop?
Yes — you can take the PDF to a print shop for your own personal use. Ask them to print at 100% scale.
Can I read the pattern on my phone or tablet?
Yes, the instructions are easy to follow on a screen. To cut your pieces you'll need to print the templates.
The patterns
What skill level are they?
Most of our patterns are written for beginners, with clear steps and illustrated diagrams. Each product page lists that pattern's skill level, finished size and full materials list.
Which sizes are included?
It depends on the pattern — the sizes (or finished dimensions) are listed in the Pattern details section of each product page. Please check them before you buy.
Is fabric included?
No. You supply your own fabric and notions — each pattern lists exactly what you'll need.
Discounts & bundles
How do the bundle savings work?
Savings are applied automatically at checkout — no code needed:
- 2 or 3 patterns: 15% off
- 4 or more patterns: 25% off
Only one of these automatic savings applies per order (always the bigger one), and they can't be combined with other discount codes.
What's the difference between a bundle and buying patterns separately?
Our bundles group related patterns into one download at a lower price than buying each one on its own. A bundle counts as one item in your cart.
Using our patterns
Can I sell what I make?
Yes — you may sell finished handmade items made from our patterns in small quantities. Please don't copy, share or resell the pattern files themselves. See our Terms of Service.
Can I share the pattern with a friend?
Please don't — each purchase is for one person's use. Your friend can buy their own copy (and you'll both save if you order 2 or more patterns).
Refunds & help
What's your refund policy?
Because patterns are instant digital downloads, all sales are final. The exception: if a file is defective or doesn't match its description, contact us within 30 days and we'll fix it or refund you. See our Refund Policy.
